Second suspect caught after multiple agencies respond to high-speed chase in Grand Ledge
Residents are asked to stay inside and lock their doors.
GRAND LEDGE, Mich. (WILX) - UPDATE: Just after 10:00 a.m., the wanted individual has been located in the Grand Ledge area. There are no further suspects on the loose regarding this incident.
UPDATE: Around 3:40 p.m. the second suspect vehicle was identified with four additional occupants. The vehicle was located and stopped on 1-96 neat Lansing Road and all five individuals, including the outstanding suspect, were taken into custody without incident.
UPDATE: Around 9:45 a.m. officers began a pursuit of a white Chevrolet Cruz in the area of I-69 and I-96, saying the suspect inside was “armed and dangerous.”
UPDATE: Around 6:28 a.m. this morning, Troopers from the MSP Lakeview Post were requested to assist the Drug Enforcement Agency with a traffic stop on a vehicle that was suspected in a pharmacy break-in in Kalamazoo.

Around 6:30 a.m. multiple agencies responded to a call that began as an attempted traffic stop of a breaking and entering suspect. The suspect fled, reaching speeds of over 100 mph on M-100.
Reports say that one person is in custody as authorities continue to search for a second. The at-large suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-7, weighing 200 pounds, and has short hair. He may be wearing a mask and was last seen near Greenwood St and Front St.
Eaton County 911 advised residents to remain inside with their doors locked as they searched for the second suspect.
News 10 was first on the scene as Michigan State Police, Ionia County Sheriff, Grand Ledge Police, and Eaton County Sheriff’s office surrounded a house on the corner of Greenwood and Front St after a Jeep with Indiana plates crashed into its property, damaging the yard and leading two suspects to flee on foot.
Police K-9s and authorities from the US Drug Enforcement Administration were also on hand.
